Artist: Moasa

I am Mohan Perera, and I am known in the industry with my designing pseudo name Moasa.

I like to define myself as a country lad as I reside in Gampaha, Sri Lanka. I hail from a highly supportive family where my achievement is their achievement. I have a great girl friend who backs me on every fall and a mother, father & sister who guides me and counsel me in each challenge.

Since the first day I can remember, my life has been filled with hundreds of weird sketches. I was a toddler when I started to decorate the walls of my home with my crayon art; Bugs Bunny and Tin Tin were my first inspirations.

As a T-shirt designer, I am pursuing my childhood dream in a novel dimension. Art is actually a medium of meditation to me. It is my sheer bliss.

My paradise island, Sri Lanka, provides me many subjects. Its traditional art, its culture; all provides me with unique themes to my designs. Ultimately, seeing other people wearing something I designed brings me an elevated level of personal happiness and motivation.
